At this point, criticisms towards Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are hardly surprising to anyone.

Many agree that the politician has faced a disproportionate amount of criticism over her platform and certain statements she’ has made, and some have pointed out that this could be a good sign.

According to those opinions, the fact that Ocasio-Cortez is drawing so much negativity from different sides could be an indication that she is on the right track.

However, her approval ratings have suffered a bit. It was recently announced that she is seen as less favorable in the eye of the public, although many have continued to express their support and approval.

Some have also speculated that the recent rating reveal could be a targeted attempt to discredit the politician, although this has been heavily debated.

Ocasio-Cortez gathered some negative feedback with certain statements she has made in public, including questioning whether having children is still a good option for the majority of people.

At the same time, many have praised her for her campaign and her robust approach to politics.

According to Gallup, 31 percent of people had favorable views of AOC in February, while 41 percent disapproved.

The congresswoman from New York had an interesting to the surprising poll.

She stated: "If you want to know what subconscious bias looks like, it’s a headline saying “AOC is underwater with every group EXCEPT women, nonwhites, and 18-34 year olds. So older, conservative white men are considered “everyone,” and everyone else is discounted as an exception. Cool."

She added: "The reason people know more is bc Fox News has turned into “AOC TMZ” (no offense to TMZ), so awareness is growing w/ GOPers. @JaneMayerNYer has reported deeply on this propaganda machine + it will be aimed at any Dem they want. Nothing changes that. We can’t be scared by that."

Despite some of her ideas appearing unusual in certain regards, they have still drawn a lot of support from all kinds of progressive groups.

The politician has received particular praise for claiming that something must be done about the working schedule situation that many people are facing.

According to her, the fact that many are forced to hold down two jobs and work for 60-80 hours a week is a sign of a deep problem in society, and something that has to be addressed if the country is to deal with unemployment in the future.

Do you think AOC is right or wrong for dismissing the poll?
