Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been very busy dealing with environmental issues and the employment situation lately.

However, while many have commended her for her actions, some do not seem that impressed with what she has been doing.

Most notably, Bronx residents seem to be growing increasingly discontent with the lack of attention they have received from Ocasio-Cortez in her plans and actions.

Some residents even claim that they had tried to reach the politician to share their concerns, but had been unable to get through.

Local activist Roxanne Delgado shared: "I thought AOC would be our savior, but that’s not the case."

Oddly enough, Ocasio-Cortez herself encouraged her followers to reach out to her on social media and other similar channels when they had issues to discuss -- but according to recent reports, those attempts at contacting her have so far been in vain.

Of course, as some have pointed out, it is possible that Ocasio-Cortez is merely going through a challenging time in her career that requires her full attention to specific other issues.

The liberal politician has been hard at work attempting to address some critical problems in the U.S. lately, and even though her actions have been met with mixed responses, she does seem to be making good progress in terms of developing her brand.

Hopefully, Ocasio-Cortez is going to start paying more attention to the neighborhoods that feel neglected by her.

Maintaining a good relationship with constituents is essential for every politician, especially someone still trying to climb up the ranks and establish a solid name for themselves on the political scene.

Given the controversial responses to some of the actions Ocasio-Cortez has taken, she might want to reevaluate her approach to some extent.

Despite the criticism, AOC is focused on pushing a national message.

She recently tweeted: "$21 TRILLION of Pentagon financial transactions “could not be traced, documented, or explained. $21T in Pentagon accounting errors. Medicare for All costs ~$32T.
That means 66% of Medicare for All could have been funded already by the Pentagon. And that’s before our premiums."

Do you think it is right or wrong to assume that AOC might pay the price for neglecting her voters?
