The media outlets are remaining so quiet you can hear crickets about the recent breaking news out of Washington. After two years, hundreds of interviews, the gathering of untold numbers of classified documents, and not to mention a cost to the tune of millions of taxpayer dollars it is official—Trump's campaign did not conspire with Russia—period!!
The news comes down that there is absolutely no evidence to prove that the Trump campaign colluded or conspired in any manner with the country of Russia. This is the conclusion the Senate Intelligence Committee and is an agreed upon bipartisan announcement from both sides of the isle—Democrat and Republican.
If you, like me, were one of the many Americans who was following the story, then this finding really shouldn't come as any surprise. Unless, you are the left-leaning liberal media, who had those involved guilty long before the investigation even got up to speed. And, as fate would have it, their premature jumping of the gun has shown just how much they want to sully the President's name, no matter what the cost.
Some are saying they felt dumb about the who situation, however, those individuals shouldn't be so hard on themselves. There are several Democrats that are probably feeling even more so today, going by their previous statements.
Adam Schiff (Rep. CA)—"I think there is plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight."
Maxine Walters (Rep. CA)—"Trump has the Kremlin clan surrounding him. There is more to be learned about it. I believe there has been collusion."
John Podesta (Former WH Chief of Staff Under Clinton)—"It is starting to smell more and more like collusion"
Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the US House)—"We saw cold, hard evidence of the Trump campaign and, indeed, the Trump family eagerly intending to collude, possibly with Russia."
The use of such definitive, strong statements as “smells like collusion”—“plenty of evidence"—and "hard evidence" only proves one thing—the Democrats once again have shown that they are willing to put the cart before the horse, rather than wait and see how it all plays outs.
In the end, the simple truth is—it was all fake. The Democrats most probably not only knew this but didn't care that it was fake. They had only one thing in their sights, that of discrediting a sitting President. They should be ashamed of themselves, but I like many American's believe that the Democrats never see what they do as wrong. Sadly, that will never change. It will be interesting to see what accusations the Democrats will spout against President Trump next.
So, what’s the verdict—you decide.
Will the Democrats admit that they were wrong, now that the truth has indeed been determined?
