Brenda Snipes has resigned after weeks of making headlines and getting bashed by prominent Republicans including President Donald Trump.

Snipes, who held the post of Broward County’s supervisor of elections, came under fire for mishandling the election recounts.

The embattled official and her staff have been accused of losing  2,000 ballots and destroying a few dozens.

Trump called Snipes corrupt and accused her of trying to steal the election in favor of the Democrats.

Both Rick Scott and Marco Rubio called for her to step down after mismanaging the election. 

Scott called her incompetent and demanded that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigated the vote counting and added: “The people of Florida deserve fairness and transparency, and the supervisors are failing to give it to us. Every Floridian should be concerned that there may be rampant fraud happening in Palm Beach and Broward counties.’’

Additionally, angry Republican protestors stood in front of her office chanting that she rigged the elections.

The former reality TV star went on to reveal: “When they call this woman incompetent, they’re wrong. She’s very competent but in a bad way. Oh, she should have been removed — I think she should have been removed in the middle of this mix-up.”

Trump said Snipes should have been axed on election night for her illegal actions.

The New York mogul stated:  “Well, many votes were added to that, and you know what’s going on. And now they have mixed them up. They mixed the votes up, and now you can’t find the ones that were put in, they just put ’em into a batch.”
