It appears that various new disagreements are brewing on the American political front.

After the Democrats recently defended Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, they have faced some backlash from Jewish groups of voters, who have claimed that they will no longer support the party.

These sentiments have even been echoed by some prominent figures, such as a consultant, Mark Dunec, who had a previous run for Congress.

According to him, he has recently started to feel physically endangered, and that fear has extended to his entire family as well.

He stated: "I’m physically afraid for myself and for my family. I see my own party contributing to the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States."

Mark Schwartz, the Democratic deputy mayor of, Teaneck, New Jersey also voiced some concerns about the direction of the party.

He explained: "We felt we had a home there. And now we feel like we have to check our passports.”

Omar has recently come under fire for expressing views that some have described as anti-Semitic.

The politician has claimed that the U.S. was mainly motivated by profits when it chose to support Israel and that many politicians on the current scene had a hidden agenda that they were not being open about.

Since then, Omar has backtracked on some of her statements, but not all. The politician has released an apology to the public over some of the things she had said, although she still stood by other parts of her claims.

Her relatively new position in politics has made her a prime target for criticism, as many have been looking at her performance under a microscope and have been actively scrutinizing everything she had done.

Omar herself has continued to move forward with her platform as a whole, although the recent attacks against her seem to have contributed somewhat negatively to her future and potential as a rising star in her party.

The politician hasn’t expressed serious concerns over that factor until now though, which many seem to find curious.

Do you think the Democratic Party was right or wrong for sticking by Omar and her recent comments?
