There has been a lot of controversy over  Leaving Neverland, a documentary which digs into the many allegations that the late Michael Jackson had to deal with during his lifetime.

Jackson was a controversial figure due to several allegations brought up against him involving possible sexual assault against minors.

The project deals with the accounts of two people who were allegedly victimized by Jackson and takes viewers through their life stories.

There has been some speculation over whether Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s daughter, has seen the documentary yet.

According to sources allegedly close to her, she has yet to see the production and has not been able to form an opinion on it.

Paris stated that she wanted to distance herself from discussions about the movie at the moment.

She pointed out that she has not actually made any specific statements regarding Leaving Neverland and would prefer that people left the film out of the picture when discussing her and her professional work.

Jackson has previously revealed that the accusations against her father had damaged him significantly and that he had spent a lot of time seeking support from her over his situation.

The allegations against Michael Jackson were a prominent topic in the media when they were still hot, and many subsequently criticized the press for the way he was presented.

Many insist that he had done nothing wrong and was simply targeted by a very specific, directed campaign that attempted to undermine him personally and professionally.

And looking back through time, it might have been successful to some extent.

Paris is not the only Jackson defending the late pop music superstar.

Before the release of the documentary, his relatives put out the following statement: "Michael always turned the other cheek, and we have always turned the other cheek when people have gone after members of our family - that is the Jackson way. But we can't just stand by while this public lynching goes on... Michael is not here to defend himself, otherwise, these allegations would not have been made."

Do you agree or disagree with Paris' assertion that her father never did these things?
