Even though the situation with Hillary Clinton's emails is a bit old at this point, it still gets brought up in the press from time to time, and it does not look like everyone has forgotten about the incident just yet.
Recently, it came out that Huma Abedin, an aide to Clinton, responded with "OMG" upon learning about what had happened.
However, that is not the most interesting part of the report. According to new revelations, Abedin waited almost half a day before letting anyone know of the breach.
At this point, she sent out a warning to everyone in the State Department informing them that they should refrain from emailing any sensitive information to Clinton.
It is not clear what might have provoked Abedin to wait that long to bring the news to someone else.
There are speculations about her possible involvement in the incident, but at this point, it does not seem like they are very sensible.
Some have pointed out that someone in the position of Abedin might feel confused over how they are supposed to respond to a breach like that, which could explain her situation.
The incident has already blown over -- with many repercussions throughout the U.S. political scene -- but it still gets referenced from time to time in various contexts.
Many people are still surprised that someone in Clinton's position could have gotten compromised in such a way in the first place, and some have been critical of the former first lady for an allegedly careless attitude towards her work communications.
Supporters of the failed presidential candidate do not relitigate the whole thing despite the release of some new FBI files.
One commenter stated: "Thank you, Secretary Clinton, for everything you've tried to do to make America and the world better place to live. I am so deeply saddened that we won't get to know what your presidency could have been."
Another person added: "It would be wonderful to see you in the White House, where you belong!"
A third follower explained: "Hillary for Attorney General 2020! Think about it, Madam! 'You'd make a great AG!!!!"
Do you think the issue with Clinton's emails is over, yes or no?
