According to recent reports, the relationship between Hunter and Hallie Biden might be over, as Hunter has decided to end things.

Their relationship was first reported in 2017, around two years after Hallie’s husband -- and Hunter’s brother -- Beau Biden passed away after battling brain cancer.

Also, while many were initially skeptical about a relationship like that, the two still received a lot of support from many sides.

However, it looks like things did not work out in the end. It is not clear what has caused the separation, although reports indicate that the two at least managed to have a good relationship while it lasted, and Hunter was able to be of enormous help towards Hallie when it came to getting over her loss.

The two have kept their relationship mostly private throughout the two years that it lasted, so not much is known about the details of their breakup.

Many people have expressed support for both former partners on social media, but it looks like they are still keeping their affairs private and are not ready to speak in public.

Some have been wondering if Kathleen, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife before he got together with Hallie, could have something to do with the separation of the two.

It was a well-known fact that she did not take the divorce with Hunter Biden lightly at all when the event went down several years ago, and it is possible that she might still be holding on to some feelings for her former husband, although whether she could act on them to such an extent is not clear.

Hunter told Vanity Fair in January that his private life should not affect his father, Joe Biden's run for president in 2020.

He explained: "My father has always been proud of me — whether when I was volunteering for the Jesuits, or working as a lawyer . . . And he remains proud of me today. He loves me. And he loves the American people far too much to let any form of adversity stand in the way of service."

Hunter added: "The important aspect of my complicated divorce (like all divorces) and an equally complicated life, marked by the tragic loss of my mother, sister, and brother, is this: My father has been a constant source of love and strength in my life."

When the couple was still together, Joe's wife, Jill Biden told the New York Post: "We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support, and we are happy for them."

Do you think Hunter's troubles can affect his dad's chances of becoming president, yes or no?
