A recent incident on a JetBlue flight, from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Las Vegas, has forced the company to remove one of their passengers from an airplane.

The incident was captured by a nearby passenger on their phone and has quickly gone viral.

The passenger was eventually arrested after leaving the plane, and police have published some additional information regarding the case.

The woman, 32-year-old Valerie Gonzalez, reportedly refused to sit next to a child, explaining that she was intoxicated after drinking all day.

Gonzalez said, "I'm not sitting next to a f---ing 3-year-old. I've been drinking all day."

A video of the incident shows her talking on her phone with an unknown party, explaining that she was wrongly targeted as she had done nothing wrong.

She could be heard saying: "I'm not getting off this plane."

Towards the end of her tirade, the woman challenged the people recording to “make the video viral” and stormed off with her belongings.

Gonzalez yelled: "Make this viral! You wanna make this viral, make it viral. What the f— did I do? I called someone old ‘cause they were?. I’ll get my bags. I’ll take my f—— s—."

That was not the end of the story, however -- according to reports from the airport, the woman then attempted to get back on the plane.

Gonzalez said, "I'm not sitting next to a f---ing 3-year-old. I've been drinking all day."

It was at this point that more serious measures had to be taken against her, and she escalated the situation to physical violence by hitting an employee in the head.

The woman is currently facing a battery charge for the incident. JetBlue themselves have refrained from commenting on the situation so far.

This is not the first time a violent passenger has had to be removed from a plane by force, and the situation has gained a lot of attention due to the woman’s attitude towards staff and fellow passengers.

There is also speculation about what might have transpired before the scene took place, although there is no concrete information on that front.

The woman spent Friday in jail. The incident had the flight delayed for two hours.
