For the past few months, Kanye West has been quiet when it comes to political matters.

Many of his fans had believed that his support for President Donald Trump had maybe died down after suffering a significant backlash over his controversial and bizarre visit to the White House.

The rapper was also bashed for wearing a Make America Great Again hat on Saturday Night Live and going on wild rants where he showed support for Trump's actions.

As it turned out, nothing has changed, Mr. West is still backing President Trump and his policies.

The husband of reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently sat down with David Letterman on the comedian's Netflix series called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, where he slammed liberals who bully supporters of Mr. Trump.

The artist stated: "This is like my thing with Trump — we don't have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel."

He went on to defend his decision to wear a Make America Great Again hat claiming it is "not about politics" but rather his way of letting people they are allowed to show love to Trump.

Letterman said: "So if I see a person that I admire talking about Donald Trump can think whatever he does. I wonder if those thoughts, indirectly, aren't hurting people who are already being hurt."

West responded by asking if Letterman he was ever beaten by high school bullies for wearing the wrong hat and added: "Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters! Blacks are 90% Democrats. That sounds like control to me."

West's interview sparked a debate on people's right to have different opinions.

"I'm not a Trump supporter, but everybody beliefs are different we have the right to believe what we want and do what we wish to I see no wrong here. Everyone is mad at Kanye for Having his own opinion that makes no sense," said one person who decided to defend West.

"He lost his mind when he got married into that family. After his mom past, he went on tours, made hit music, won awards, and spoke up for black people just as his mom & dad did (former black panther)," stated a critic.

Do you think West is right or wrong on this, yes or no?
