Numerous Democratic presidential candidates have called for the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after The New York Times published new, uninvestigated allegations of sexual misconduct from his time in Yale University.

The Senate confirmed Kavanaugh last year after a hearing over sexual assault allegations from his high school career. During the weekend, the New York Times published a summary of a book written by its journalists Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly disclosing new insights about sexual misconduct allegations against him.

A former fellow student of Kavanaugh, Deborah Ramirez, admitted that he exposed himself to her and engaged in other inappropriate activities during a drunken party at Yale University when they were undergraduate students.

Another former classmate from Yale, Max Stier echoed Ramirez story stating that he saw Kavanaugh pushing his private parts into the hands of a female student.

According to the authors, the former classmate informed several U.S. senators and the FBI about the incident, but FIB did not intervene.

California Sen. Kamala Harris was among the first to call for his impeachment following the new allegations. She wrote in a tweet Sunday that he lied not only to the Senate but to the American people.

Another Democratic front-runner, Joe Biden also joined the discussion raising concerns about the integrity of Kavanaugh's confirmation process.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren took the opportunity to blast President Trump stating that Kavanaugh should be impeached along with the man who appointed him.

Beto O'Rourke echoed her words highlighting that the GOP-dominated Senate used its powers to force the FBI to rush the investigation to save Kavanaugh's nomination.

Sen. Bernie Sanders did not explicitly recommend impeachment, but he suggested that Kavanaugh should be held accountable for his actions.

President Trump fiercely blasted the calls for impeachment saying that the ''Radical Left Democrats'' and their ally, the ''LameStream Media'' were after Kavanaugh again.

Trump demanded that the Justice Department ''rescue'' Kavanaugh and advised him to sue The New York Times over the upcoming book. The President also blamed Democrats of trying to interfere into the rulings of the new justice.

Brett Kavanaugh, a conservative, was appointed by Trump was confirmed by the Senate after an emotional hearing in which he declined all the allegations of sexual misconduct from his youth.

In reality, there is a slight chance that Kavanaugh would be convicted of impeachment charges as a two-thirds majority in the Republican-led Senate is required.

What is your opinion? Do you support or oppose the Democrats' call for the impeachment of Brett Kavanaugh?
