President Donald Trump has offended many people, and some are not ready to forget. Meghan McCain, daughter of late Arizona Senator John McCain, seems disappointed -- and even outraged -- at the fact that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner showed up at her father’s funeral.
According to McCain, she felt shocked at the sight of the two appearing at the emotional gathering, and was not sure how to respond to the situation right away.
She added that the Trump family seems to have a negative predisposition towards her, and that is something she does not expect to go away anytime soon.
According to McCain, this negativity is not something she is going to forget anytime soon, and it has been a big part of her life recently.
McCain went on to explain how she believed that there was an understandable implied divide between her family and Trump’s, and she expected both sides to respect that arrangement.
She stated: "I thought that my family had made it clear, or at least I had, that the Trumps are unwelcome around me and that my father had been sort of very clear about the line between the McCains and the Trumps."
The TV personality added: "So I was surprised when they were there. And it made me uncomfortable, and I hope I made them uncomfortable, honestly, with everything."
It is not clear if the Trumps agree with her views though, as they did not seem affected by McCain’s outrage.
McCain went on in detail about her relationship with the Trumps during an appearance on the
McCain seems to still hold a grudge over those comments, drawing comparisons between Trump’s history with the army and that of her father.
She is not the first one to make such remarks either, although Trump has not shown any real response to such accusations in the past, and he maintains the same position he always has.
