According to President Donald Trump, Joe Biden, who used to serve as vice president of the nation, is not “the brightest light bulb.”

Trump made the remark during his recent appearance on Sean Hannity’s show, stating it in response to Biden’s recent announcement about his intention to run for president.

According to Trump, he has known Biden for some time now and does not believe him to be very intelligent.

He also pointed out that Biden has a recognizable name as a positive factor, but not much else going on.

Trump stated: "I’ve known Joe over the years. He’s not the brightest light bulb in the group; I don’t think. He’s a name that they know."

He then went on to point out his accomplishments in office, noting that he had made various reforms in Veteran Affairs (mostly related to medical services), and has improved the state of the military.

Trump specifically pointed to his accomplishments with the military as something he believed to be of great importance for the nation as a whole.

He explained that from his point of view, the country has a choice to make for all of its veterans, and it is important to make the right one. Veterans should not be kept waiting in line all day long, according to Trump, and the president seems quite concerned with improving the situation for those receiving veteran compensation.

The real estate mogul explained: "The way the world is today is we have a strong military. We have choice for our veterans. They have choice now. Instead of waiting on line all day long, all week long all month long. They have choice they can go out to a private doctor we pay the bill. They don’t have to die waiting online."

Still, some have been vocally critical of Trump’s attitude in this regard, claiming that he is merely trying to pass off the achievements of previous administrations as his own and that he has not had much to do with the current improvements that the country is seeing. Trump has not responded to those accusations.

Do you think Trump is right in his Biden criticism, yes or no?
