Bimbo is the word that Scott Dunn, a Republican politician from Texas used to describe the left's rising star, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Mr. Dunn is a Richardson City Councilman, who was frustrated by one of the many tweets posted by Miss Ocasio-Cortez where she blasted President Donald Trump's controversial comments or policies.

The conservative took to his personal social media account where he referred to the newly elected Democrat from New York as a bimbo who is intellectually challenged.

“The embarrassment is to have bimbos like you with nothing between your ears,” the Texas councilman wrote.

Note that in the past, Mr. Trump retweeted a post of someone calling Megyn Kelly a bimbo.

Dunn was slammed by liberals and members of the GOP for the offensive and sexist language.

Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker rapidly threw Dunn under the bus by saying the tweet was inappropriate.

“Richardson’s values are best upheld when we engage in civic discourse that is civil in tone, respectful of others and designed to produce constructive outcomes for the betterment of our community,” Voelker said.

“Even when we disagree about important political and social issues, we shouldn’t resort to name-calling.”

According to Mr. Voelker's statement, the leaders of Richardson are proud to represent a "diverse and multifaceted community – one where the values of tolerance and inclusivity."

Aware he was in hot water and his career was on the line, Dunn wrote an apology.

“The words I used were offensive,” Dunn shared on his personal Facebook page. “I am responsible for my own words and actions. I apologize to anyone who finds what I said offensive.”

To avoid getting in trouble in the future, Dunn opted to close some his social media accounts and make others private.

Since claiming victory over Congressman Joe Crowley in the 2018 midterm elections, Ocasio-Cortez has become a hero for some and a villain for others.

Conservatives and FOX News often salivate while criticizing her for some of her positions and she takes pride in fighting back.

“This stuff is really sad. The GOP is so intellectually bankrupt that they no longer engage to debate issues in good faith, but instead seek to lie, distort, name-call, target, & destroy people/communities w any means possible,"Miss Ocasio-Cortez recently tweeted.
