In the middle of their custody battle, a strange incident has occurred between Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis.

Ravenel claims that Dennis performed a hit-and-run with her car, an incident that was captured entirely on camera, with the footage now being made public.

According to reports, the incident dates about half a year back, although it took some time for the footage to become available.

Ravenel seems to be trying to use the situation as leverage in his custody negotiations, trying to paint his former partner as irresponsible and unfit to be in the role of a parent.

The footage is a bit unclear but shows a woman getting into a black Jeep, reversing into another vehicle and hitting it with her own.

After that, the Jeep moved forward and aligned itself in a way that allowed it to leave the scene, which is what it did shortly afterward.

So far, Dennis has not commented on the situation, despite repeated attempts to contact her regarding the issue.

Many are speculating that there might be more to this incident than meets the eye, although, without a proper investigation, it will all come down to speculation, something which is not healthy in an incident like this.

Adding to the problematic situation for Dennis, court documents allegedly claim that she is the main reason for the developmental problems experienced by the couple’s children.

So far, the situation certainly does not look good for Dennis and her chances of getting custody over the children, although we will have to wait and see how the situation unfolds.

The custody battle between the two exes is taking an ugly turn, and in court documents, Dennis tried to get Ravenel to address his alleged drug use under oath.

She claimed: "[He] has drunk alcohol to excess, mixed with prescription drugs, that has caused him to be impaired during periods of time in which he had custody of the children."

The reality TV stars have complicated pasts and seem more than ready to use that to win in court.

Do you think these stories will affect their children?
