Reports indicate that Kimberly Guilfoyle has decided to join the presidential campaign of Donald Trump for the upcoming 2020 election, serving as a senior adviser.

Guilfoyle already has significant experience in U.S. politics, especially in circles surrounding Trump himself, so she was a clear and viable candidate for the post.

In fact, Guilfoyle might be a bit too close to the Trump administration -- last year, it was reported that she had started dating Donald Trump Jr., following the businessman’s divorce from his wife, Vanessa Trump.

It is not clear how things are on that front at the moment, and whether this has had any impact on the decision to hire Guilfoyle on Trump’s team in the first place.

However, as can be expected, there has been no official comment from the Trump campaign regarding that.

According to Trump’s office, the administration has been hard at work putting together various experts from different fields in order to secure Trump’s chances in the upcoming election.

It does seem Trump’s camp is quite confident in their chances in the coming year, although that could of course just be posturing, as many politicians typically do in times leading up to a major event like an election for president.

Many eyes remain firmly fixed on Trump’s upcoming election campaign, as it is still highly debated whether the president has a shot at a second term.

His current one has been highly controversial in many aspects, and there is a lot of skepticism regarding his prospects in 2020. Still, it is always possible that Trump might have an ace up his sleeve.

Trump's 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, explained what the recruit brings to the team by saying:   "We are assembling a world class team of talented individuals to help re-elect Trump. President Trump has a clear record of accomplishments and promises kept as he continues to Make America Great Again. These exceptional additions to the re-election effort will help us take our case to the voters and ensure victory."

Can the former Fox News anchor bring something interesting to the Trump campaign, yes or no?
