Two days before the official opening of Tokyo-2020, Japan beat Australia 8-1 in Olympic softball.

The Japanese women's team took advantage of its long-range offensive. As a result, it prevailed in the preamble to the great sporting event.

Two days before the official opening ceremony, the sports events of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games began this Wednesday in Fukushima. Japan's softball team beat Australia 8-1 in five innings.

A ticket to Naito and a homerun by Yamamoto decided the victory of the Japanese by adding seven runs difference in the fifth inning, a vast superiority, according to the advance or mercy rule.

In the third inning, Nodoka Harada mistakenly reached the base from the second base, and with two outs, Nato's home runs made the score 3-1. Arrived at the base from the first base by mistake.

Japan, champion in Beijing 2008, the last time this sport was Olympic, deployed a six-hit offense. First baseman Minori Naito, designated hitter Yamato Fujita and third baseman Yu Yamamoto were three homers.

At Fukushima Azuma Stadium, Australia took advantage of uncontrollable pitcher Yukio Yuno to take a 1-0 lead in the first innings, who gave up a walk and two balls after being hit by Michelle Cox.

In the same first inning, Japan tied Naito, who advanced to second base on a wild pitch by pitcher Kaia Parnaby and an RBI single by Yamamoto.

Australia's defense failed, and Japan took advantage to mark the pair's fortunes.

In the third inning, Nodoka Harada mistakenly reached the base from the second base, and with two outs, Nato's home runs made the score 3-1. Arrived at the base from the first base by mistake.

A ticket to Naito and a homerun by Yamamoto decided the victory of the Japanese by adding seven runs difference in the fifth inning, a vast superiority, according to the advance or mercy rule.

For Japan, the most outstanding hitter was Yu Yamamoto, going 3-2 with three RBIs.

The win went to Yukiko Ueno, allowing two hits in 4/3 innings. He killed seven opponents, and the backhand came from Kaia Parnaby.

In the other duels of the opening day, Italy will face the United States and Mexico against Canada this Wednesday.
