Vitamin E's primary function is to protect cell membranes from free radicals that form when the human body converts food into energy. Oxygen, in turn, damages cell membranes as a result of radical chemical processes, which can contribute to the development of cardiovascular or even cancer. Vitamin E is involved in these chemical processes and protects cells, so this vitamin is called an antioxidant. Free radicals in the body are more likely to occur from smoking, exposure to polluted air, or high ultraviolet radiation levels.

Due to its antioxidant properties, vitamin E is also used in dermatology - for local skin application. It is included in various cosmetic products: moisturizers, anti-aging creams, sunburn creams, multiple serums, etc. Vitamin E cosmetics help protect the skin from UV radiation, damage from environmental pollution, and inflammation.

Another beauty vitamin improves the functioning of the immune system. It prevents the formation of blood clots in the blood vessels of the heart. However, it should be noted that scientists are still researching the benefits of vitamin E in cases of cardiovascular, oncological, eye, and neurodegenerative diseases. There is currently no concrete evidence that taking vitamin E can help protect against these diseases or benefit people who already have these conditions.

1. Sprinkle salads, sandwiches, or stews with peeled sunflower seeds, wheat germ, basil, or thyme.

2. Use avocado or peanut butter instead of butter for buns or snacks.

3. Add a handful of nuts to your morning porridge or use almond flour instead of regular wheat flour for baking pancakes.

4. Add a tablespoon of nut butter or mango to the smoothie, making the consistency more creamy and enriching the drink with valuable vitamin E.

Use almond and grape seed oil for body and face care, combined with light massage movements. This will moisturize the skin and enrich it with vitamin E.

A varied and balanced diet eliminates the lack of vitamin E. The more colorful the food, the more vitamins and minerals a person assimilates. Although vitamin E deficiency is rare in humans, vitamin E deficiency can occur in patients with digestive disorders or fat absorption disorders. In such cases, it is necessary to additionally take specific vitamins.
